Ian Thornton finished the exterior and the clean-lined rod from which it hangs in a painted gesso white and had the interiors slathered in a contemporary gold leaf that warms the illumination. Because the gold chandelier has both up-light and downlight, it is a terrific choice for spaces that require maximum illumination.
